about
A story of a couple kids who are hit by a runaway train and it casts them into the middle of 90's Grunge song. They live there days stuck inside the song. Every day there's flies inside of the Vaseline jar. Every night as shadows stretch they find themselves counting up blue cars. Every time they go to the bar it's closing time and they get last call and then kicked out. You think it would be simple to live in a 90's Grunge Song? Not so much.
lyrics
We're in a 90's grunge song
We're stuck inside
Hammered by a runaway train with one headlight
It all went down as we drove in your fast car
Landed in a 90's grunge song
Went to the bar
Every night as shadows stretch
We're counting up blue cars
Every day there's flys inside of the Vaseline jar
It's closing time, you can't stay here
Get out of the bar!
Here in a 90's grunge song
My hair had grown out, it's ever long
Rangly, curly sticking out all wrong
I don't know why my self-esteems in a hole
Until Jane says, "I love your fro"
What I got you oughta know, when I come around
It smells like teen spirit, sex and candy all day long
An elderly woman behind the counter in every little town
Here in a 90's grunge song
Here in a 90's grunge song
We tried to escape in a Dodge Astro
With my bad motorfinger turning up the radio
Got my favorite flannel and I wrapped it around
Played my air guitar to some nirvana songs
I don't know why I comedown, back to the real world
And lightning crashes when you say, "I'm just a girl"
Every night as shadows stretch
We're counting up blue cars
Every day there's flys inside of the Vaseline jar
It's closing time, you can't stay here
Get out of the bar!
