FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Roots Asylum Releases New Americana Rock Single “Golden Hearts” 01/06/2023

KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN: Roots Asylum is an Americana Rock band from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Their new single “Golden Hearts” tells a wistful story about a lost friendship. The song’s rhythm will keep your toes tapping and the lyrics might make you nostalgic. The song has rhythmic undertones in the style of Roy Orbison (Blue Bayou) and Iz Kamakawiwo’ole (Somewhere Over the Rainbow).

The story starts with the lyric “I know we’re over now” and the sentiment continues through the song. None of us get through life without experiencing the loss of a good friend. This song takes you back to the moments in your life you spent with your friend, the joy and the struggle. It gives the listener something special to recall about that person who is still in our hearts.
